PCB Component Procurement Process

1. Prepare the BOM (Bill of Materials)

We will request you for a detailed BOM for every part involved: part number, manufacturer, package/footprint, quantity, electrical/ mechanical info, substitute part (if allowed), and estimated volume.

And don't forget the project-level constraints: lead-time deadlines, regulatory/compliance needs, environmental or application-specific requirements.

2. Send Documents for Quotation

You can issue the compiled documents to us to request a detailed quotation. This request typically includes price, lead time, and terms. After receiving the quote, the component sourcing begins.

3. Start Purchasing

This involves selecting a supplier, negotiating final terms, and placing the official purchase order for components. We will check these electrical parts availability and purchasing according to your project requirements.

4. Select Brand

You can finalize the brand and part number of the specific component for the order. We will stick with authorized distributors or known sources to prevent the use of fake parts, which can cause major reliability issues.

5. Assembling Purchased Components

Once all the parts arrive and are inspected, they will be sent to the assembly line. We will use your supplied BOM and placement files to assemble and solder the components on the produced PCBs.

6. Customer Service Tracking
